We suck. Or more importantly I suck since I am the only one able to do website updates in the band right now and I’ve been slacking. (that will be changing soon) We’ve been working hard though, I assure you. If you have been looking for new video blogs I have bad news. My video camera has finally bit the dust and we are currently unable to share our hi-jinx with you in bush-league reality show format. Take my word for it though we are just a ridiculous as ever. If you are looking to catch us in person we have lots of chances for our Ontario fans coming up including an appearance at SCENEfest and lots of Toronto stuff. If you are looking for an update on the new record, tough break, I got nothing for you other than we are working on getting a release date. If you remember the board game mousetrap you get the idea. The sprockets are turning and the ball is rolling though and we will have some info for ya’ll soon. Click the top pic for show listings.

An Evening with The Reason & Friends

So we’re playing our yearly show at the YMCA and we managed to jam pack it with some of our favorite bands. Saint Alvia, The Junction and Ashley Sloggett have all been confirmed to play acoustic sets and we will be playing material off our new acoustic EP in addition to some acoustic versions of NEW songs. The first 50 people at the door will receive a free copy of our new acoustic EP and it’s guaranteed to be an amazing evening. Doors are at 6:30 on Feb 20th and proceeds will go to support the YMCA Strong Kids fund so try and make it out to the show to see some great music and support a great cause.

Well, we finally got it online and available for download. It’s currently available anywhere in North America from the iTunes Music Store and also from our friends at mymerchtable.com. Simply click the graphic above and pick your poison. It includes six songs; 5 redone acoustic versions of songs from Things Couldn’t Be Better and a cover version of Brilliant Disguise by none other than The Boss. There are plans in the future to make some form of hard copy. No word on that yet as our new record is still taking up the majority of our efforts. Until then check out the new EP and Video Blog #6.

We wrap up the recording of our new album and venture into the Big Apple. Planes, Trains and Automobiles, A Peek at a new song, Bars, Parties and Subway station tap dance hip hop break....oh and of course a snowy drive home to Ontario.
